Justin Alan Zvonkovic, 31, of Fairfield, Connecticut, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

    Justin was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to Alan and Lisa Zvonkovic. Justin lived in Fairfield, Connecticut, until his passing. Justin attended Calf Pen Meadow School in Milford, CT, and Living Word Christian Academy in West Haven, CT, before graduating from Bridgeport Adult High School in Bridgeport, CT. Justin was very active in sports when he was younger; he played baseball for Milford International Little League and soccer for Living Word Christian Academy.

    After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on January 12th, 2015. PFC Zvonkovic graduated from the Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot, Parris Island, on the 10th of April, after completing Marine Combat Training at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He then went to Fort Lee, Virginia, to commence training as a bulk fuel specialist. Upon completion of bulk fuel specialist school, he then received orders to Bulk Fuel Company 9th Engineer Support Battalion, Marine Corps Base Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. Justin's last duty station was Camp Pendleton, CA, before he separated from the Marine Corps with the rank of Sargent in 2019 – he was known to his unit as "YOOOO" – he had an outgoing personality that no one could match and had the loudest laugh in fuels.

    Justin was like the mayor – everyone seemed to know him, and once you met him, you would never forget him. His personality was big and bright, and with his large laugh, he would draw you in. He was the best friend you could ever have. He was kind, loving, and giving – he loved his family and his son without measure.

    Justin is survived by his son Justin Alan Zvonkovic Jr., his father Alan, mother Lisa, stepmother Tina, stepbrother Zarchary Lee, along with his aunts, uncles, many cousins, and friends.

    Visitation for Justin will be held at Lesko Funeral Home, located at 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center, on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer service will take place at 7:00 PM, followed by full military honors. Justin's interment will be held privately.
