Beverly "Bev" Plucker, age 96, peacefully and unexpectedly passed away in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Beverly was born in Wethersfield, CT, on January 16, 1929, to Louis Mason and Ruby Matthews Mason. She graduated from Wethersfield High School in 1947. Shortly after, Beverly married her high school sweetheart, Earnest Alan Plucker. While raising three wonderful sons, Beverly worked at State National Bank in the Lockbox Department until she retired.

For many years, Beverly was an active member of the Fairfield Grace Methodist Church, volunteering at numerous church events and the popular once-a-month "spaghetti supper." She loved crocheting lap and baby blankets for donation and enjoyed painting and gifting ceramics for every occasion. An avid sports fan, Beverly attended many events for her grandchildren and especially loved watching the Mets and UCONN Women's Basketball games.

Beverly is survived by her three sons: Stephen and wife Peni, James and wife Dale, and Gregory with significant other, Jeryl Pfost. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Beverly is predeceased by her loving husband, Earnest Alan Plucker, six brothers: Roy Mason, Raymond Mason, Warren Mason, Glen Mason, Harold Mason, and Millard Mason, along with their wives, and her loving grandson, Michael Plucker.

The Plucker family would like to extend a very warm thank you to Danielle from Passionate Care and Emma and Mbra "Mary" for being such kind and compassionate 24-hour caregivers. Beverly truly enjoyed their companionship at home.

 Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lesko Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, with burial to follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. The family prefers donations be made to the Heart Association, Alzheimer’s Association, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or the Kidney Foundation.
