Obituary of David W. Korchman

Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

David "Dave" Walter Korchman, 63, of Fairfield, CT, passed away peacefully.

He is survived by his beloved son and daughter-in-law, Thomas "Tom" and Christiana Korchman. Also surviving are his siblings, Alan Korchman, Daughters Alexandra and Meghan, Diane Korchman's daughters, Kelly, and Jennifer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Anna Korchman, who now welcome him in Heaven.

Dave was an expressive man who felt and loved deeply. His greatest pride and joy was his son, Tom. He spoke often and fondly of his experiences as a father, from cherished memories of taking Tom to SeaWorld, to proudly watching him grow and serve in the military. In his later years, Dave found comfort and companionship in his beloved dog, Barley. The two were inseparable, sharing walks on the beach, games of fetch, and peaceful moments at home. Dave often referred to Barley as his best friend, and their bond brought him deep joy. When not with Barley, Dave could often be found at the beach, fishing and enjoying the quiet moments of nature.

A service to honor and celebrate Dave's life will be held on Thursday, June 12th, 2025, 4-7 pm at the Lesko funeral home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center.
