Obituary of Henry "Hank" Faulkner

Henry "Hank" Faulkner, 93, of Fairfield, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Shirley Winn Faulkner, of Fairfield; his son, Daniel Faulkner, and his wife, Sharon, of Fairfield; his daughter, Diana Cauchon, and her husband, Alan, of Shelton; and his son, Randy Faulkner, and his wife, Michele, of Fairfield. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Daniel Faulkner, Jennifer Cauchon, Jason Cauchon, and James Henry Faulkner, as well as his great-grandchildren, Aurora and Jeremy, along with several nieces and nephews. Hank was born and raised in Bridgeport, specifically in the Black Rock section, before moving to Fairfield later in life. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Korean War. After the war, in 1957, he married the love of his life, Shirley Winn Faulkner. They enjoyed a long and happy marriage that lasted over 68 years. Hank worked for Auco-Lycoming for 32 years. In his free time, he loved to travel the world with Shirley. He also enjoyed listening to music and meeting new people at social gatherings. Hank was a proud member of the Catholic War Veterans Bower Post in Black Rock, where he served as Commander for some time. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 9th, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Lesko Funeral Home, located at 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center. Services will continue at Holy Family Church at 12 PM. He will be laid to rest at Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield with full military honors.
