Jennifer Duguid Savader (51), a lifelong resident of Fairfield, CT, passed away on April 2, 2025. In a heart-wrenching turn of events, Jennifer Duguid Savader’s bright, shining light has been extinguished in this unjust world. This news comes as a shock to those who knew Jen as a vibrant, devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, friend, teacher, and integral member of the Fairfield community.

Jen graduated from Fairfield High School in 1992, went on to earn a degree from UConn in 1996, and was working on her 3rd master’s degree. Jen’s unwavering commitment to education spans over 27 years, with much of her time spent teaching Family and Consumer Science at Tomlinson and Fairfield Woods Middle Schools, where she has earned the respect and admiration of her students and colleagues. 

For Jen, family was everything. Twenty years married to her loving and devoted husband, Jason, and together, they raised three teenage boys: Owen, Emmett, and Phinn.  Beyond her work in the classroom, Jen dedicated her time to being an active part of her school community and her children’s sports and activities, including Boy Scout Troop 88. Jen is the daughter of Jonathan (predeceased) and Vicki Duguid of Fairfield.  She is survived by her mother, Vicki; her brother, Jed Duguid (Marlyse); and their children, Waylon and Nyssa; her sister, Jill Duguid-Sendas (Scott); and their daughter, Emilia.  She is also survived by Jason’s parents, Karen and Phil Savader of Port St. Lucie, FL., and sister-in-law, Aimee Savader of West Palm Beach, FL. 

Jen’s entire family is incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support they have received. They feel so blessed to be part of this community.  It is a reminder that even in the hardest of times, there is so much love and compassion in this world.

Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, from 3:00 PM-7:00 PM at the Lesko Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center.
