Obituary of Nancy S. Szwejkowski

Nancy Szwejkowski, the loving wife of the late Michael John Szwejkowski Sr, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

Nancy was born in Bridgeport in 1946 to Willam M. and Theresa B Lucas and graduated from Central High School. Nancy and Mike were married for 55 years. Nancy was the Secretary and Chief elder of the First United Church of Christ for many years. Nancy is survived by her son Michael and his wife Jeanine Szwejkowski of Florida, grandchildren Jason and Kayla, and great-granddaughter Amara. Nancy is also survived by her godson and nephew Bill III, niece Wendy, and several special cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 9, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Lesko Funeral Home, located at 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center. Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Trumbull Congregational Church and American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.
