Joann M. Dombek, age 79, of Bridgeport, CT, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025. She was born on January 28, 1945, in Bridgeport, to Nicholas Pento (1904-1968) and Maria V. DiJulio (1911-1992).

Joann dedicated many years of her career as the Office Manager for Schwartz and Hofflich in Norwalk, where she was known for her diligence and commitment to her work.

Joann is survived by her sisters: Linda Joan Pento (Boudreau) and the late Angelina M. DeBrisco and Carmela DeBrisco. She was a cherished mother to her two daughters, Cynthia Ann Dombek (Bowen) and Dana Lynn Dombek (DiGrandi). Joann's legacy continues through her grandchildren: Jasmin, Erika, and Steven, children of Cynthia; and Joseph and Alyssa, children of Dana; Son in Law, Vincent DiGrandi, as well as a recently born great grand-daughter. Gammy as she was affectionately called by her grandchildren, will be missed, yet remembered for her wonderful spirit.

Joann was a ball of energy to anyone that knew her. She rode horses, water skied, snow skied, and was never afraid to take on a new adventure. She also a talented baker who made a cheesecake that was second to none. She will be deeply missed by all who called her a friend.
